Kampgrounds Of America, Inc. (KOA) is seeking a Payroll Specialist to handle end-to-end payroll processing for up to 1,800 employees across the US and Canada, ensuring on-time, accurate pay while complying with tax laws and internal policies.

You will collaborate with HR on policies and Dayforce usage, handling benefits and reporting. The role requires strong accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to manage various payroll activities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Ability to research, resolve and communicate complex payroll issues accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent communication abilities with aptitude in problem-solving.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of internal controls.
• Data driven problem solver with sharp mathematical acumen.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Confidentiality and integrity.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll, annual profit share and bonus checks for KOA employees across the US and Canada.
• Record changes affecting net wages and update master payroll records.
• Process, audit and record documentation for employees including terminations and transfers.
• Prepare follow-up for bank-related payments and stop payments.
• Investigate and correct payroll discrepancies and errors.
• Assist in administration of 401k retirement plans and benefit payments.
• Address employees’ pay-related concerns and provide payroll information.
• Ensure timely processing of final payroll checks for terminations.
• Prepare information for workers' compensation audits and payroll-related reporting.
