Job summary

Robinson Nevada Mining Company in Ruth, NV seeks a Payroll Administrator to manage accurate, timely payroll for a 24/7 operation. You will ensure payroll integrity across complex schedules, tax compliance, and adverse shifts while supporting finance and leadership.

The role requires 3-5+ years of full-cycle payroll experience, JD Edwards (JDE) familiarity, and strong Excel skills. This is an exempt, on-site position in a mining environment with strict deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or equivalent field experience.
• 3-5+ years of full-cycle payroll experience in a complex/industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of FLSA, IRS, and multi-state payroll regulations.
• JD Edwards (JDE) and automated timekeeping systems (TCP) experience.
• Advanced Excel and reconciliation/audit skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• High integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle payroll from pre-payroll through final update for a 24/7 operation.
• Maintain payroll integrity within JDE and ensure time integration from TCP.
• Administer payroll tax compliance, filings, deposits, and year-end reporting.
• Manage deductions, benefits, garnishments, and fringe benefits.
• Reconcile payroll to the general ledger and prepare month-end entries.
• Ensure compliance with FLSA and wage/tax laws; audit readiness.
• Validate pay accuracy for all pay types and deadlines.
• Support audits, reporting, and process improvements.
• Provide responsive, customer-focused support to employees and leadership.
