Job summary

Robinson Nevada Mining Company in Ruth, NV is seeking a Mine Maintenance Shift Supervisor to lead maintenance teams on rotating shifts. Under limited supervision, plan, organize and supervise maintenance activities, ensure safety adherence and project coordination.

You will direct staff, manage workflows, coordinate with other departments, and oversee contractors to maintain facilities and mining equipment in top condition.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required with supervision/management experience.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, direct and manage multiple operational areas and activities.
• Able to follow safety practices and communicate effectively in writing and speaking.
• Working knowledge of MSHA surface codes and mobile mining equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe work procedures and best practices.
• Establish goals and procedures in assigned area.
• Direct maintenance staff in daily operations; inspect work for quality.
• Provide administrative and technical direction; interpret policies and procedures.
• Oversee staff selection and discipline; investigate issues and take corrective actions.
• Coordinate work plans for projects, including cost estimates and program development.
• Collaborate with other units and site departments.
• Evaluate infrastructure and systems for maintenance needs.
• Coordinate consultants and contractors.
• Lead on complex issues with delegated objectives and timelines.
