Job summary

State of Georgia's Judicial Council/Administrative Office of the Courts in Atlanta seeks a Payroll Specialist 3 to supervise payroll functions, interpret regulations, and coordinate with third-party payroll providers under the Accounting Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or 2+ years payroll/accounting experience with the State of Georgia.
• ERS and JRS knowledge is preferred.
• Prior state government payroll experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Post/update payroll transactions in GA@Work.
• Reconcile payroll activities and ensure accuracy.
• Prepare monthly retirement and health insurance reconciliations.
• Process complex payroll transactions and third-party requests.
