Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage client payroll processing, ensure accuracy, and support implementation projects using ADP RUN. You will build trusted client relationships, train users, and maintain data confidentiality across multiple clients.

The role requires 3 years of payroll experience, a preferred Bachelor’s degree, and CPP is desired. Proficiency in ADP RUN, Outlook, and MS Office is expected, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant payroll experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience can substitute.
• CPP preferred.
• Experience with ADP RUN software and implementation.
• Working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Highly detail oriented and focused on accuracy.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to effectively work in a deadline driven environment serving multiple clients.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; appropriately and professionally communicates with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client payroll information is accurate within their specific payroll system and resolve discrepancies.
• Review and process payrolls in a timely manner to meet client deadlines; update employee records, calculate/paying bonuses or severance, review tax calculations, reconcile payroll deposits and withholdings.
• Establish strong client relationships by effectively consulting on payroll matters.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee data and accurately convey information in written and verbal form.
• Provide technical software support to clients and identify opportunities to expand services.
• Be an additional resource to the implementation team and train clients on payroll processes.
• Manage new client implementation projects, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
