Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage client payrolls, ensure accuracy, and partner with clients on payroll-related matters using ADP RUN.

Responsibilities include processing payrolls, updating records, calculating taxes, generating earnings reports, and supporting implementation teams while maintaining data confidentiality. The role emphasizes exceptional client service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under deadlines across multiple clients.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant payroll experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience can be considered in lieu of degree
• CPP preferred
• Experience with ADP RUN software and implementation experience
• Working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
• Highly detail oriented and focused on accuracy
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional communicates with all levels
• Ability to learn new technology and processes quickly

Responsibilities

• Ensure client payroll information is accurate within their payroll system and resolve discrepancies
• Review and process payrolls to meet client deadlines, update employee records, and reconcile deposits and tax withholdings
• Prepare reports of employee earnings, taxes, deductions, and employer contributions for social security and unemployment
• Establish strong client relationships by consulting on payroll matters and maintaining data confidentiality
• Provide technical software support to clients and train them on payroll processes
• Manage new client implementation projects ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction
