Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant payroll experience (or equivalent).
• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience can substitute.
• CPP preferred and knowledge of ADP RUN required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client payroll information is accurate in the payroll system and resolve discrepancies.
• Review and process payrolls timely to meet deadlines; update employee records and calculate bonuses or severance.
• Prepare reports of earnings, taxes, deductions, and employer contributions for social security and unemployment.
• Establish strong client relationships by effectively consulting on payroll matters and maintaining confidentiality.
• Provide technical software support to clients and identify out-of-scope work and opportunities to expand services.
• Support implementation projects, ensure timely completion and client satisfaction.
• Train clients on payroll processes and assist new hires or less experienced staff.
• Stay current with local, state, and federal payroll practices and laws.
