Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support client payroll processing and payroll-related advisory services. You will ensure accurate payroll data, review tax calculations and prepare earnings reports while maintaining confidentiality.

The role requires ADP RUN proficiency, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client deadlines in a fast-paced environment; a Bachelor's degree is preferred and CPP certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant payroll experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience can substitute.
• CPP preferred.
• Experience with ADP RUN software and implementation.
• Proficiency with Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Process client payrolls accurately and on time, updating records and calculating bonuses or severance as needed.
• Prepare reports of earnings, taxes, deductions and employer contributions.
• Build trusted client relationships by advising on payroll matters and maintaining data confidentiality.
• Provide technical software support and identify opportunities to expand services.
• Support implementation projects and train clients on payroll processes.
• Mentor and provide feedback to new hires and staff as needed.
