Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in payroll processing support and payroll administration.
• Associate's degree in finance, business administration, or related field preferred.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) holder or equivalent certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Workday payroll software to support accurate and timely payroll processing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates payroll processing for assigned pay groups by validating HRIS and timekeeping inputs and applying standard pay rules.
• Verifies standard earnings and adjustments to sustain accurate gross-to-net outcomes.
• Resolves payroll and payroll tax exceptions by researching records, coordinating corrections, and confirming timely issuance.
• Maintains payroll records, reporting, and control documentation to enable audits, statutory obligations, and period close.
• Assists payroll tax administration activities by preparing reconciliations and supporting jurisdictional actions as needed.
• Performs year-end readiness activities by performing assigned reconciliations and assisting with wage statement accuracy and exception resolution.
