Job summary

Servier in the U.S. is a Boston-based biopharmaceutical company focused on delivering value to patients through innovative medicines. The Senior Manager, Payroll will lead end-to-end payroll operations for ~700 employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance.

This role requires deep ADP Workforce Now expertise, strong internal controls, and collaboration with HR, Finance, and external vendors to drive process improvements and reliable reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 7+ years of payroll experience.
• Working knowledge of the ADP payroll system.
• Experience leading payroll transitions and system implementations.
• Experience with third-party payroll processors and benefits, including 401(k).

Responsibilities

• Manage bi-weekly payroll for ~700 employees with accuracy and timeliness.
• Owner and advanced user of ADP Workforce Now; oversee reporting, audits and issue resolution.
• Drive payroll process improvements and scalable HR Operations solutions.
• Approve and sign off payroll prior to submission.
• Oversee payroll interfaces with benefits and finance partners (401(k), FSA, HSA, reporting).
• Collaborate with payroll manager on strategy, process improvements and system enhancements.
• Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state and local regulations; manage tax processes.
• Lead payroll audits, reconciliations, year-end activities and GL accuracy.
• Partner with HR, Finance, Legal & Compliance to ensure policy adherence.
