Atrium Staffing LLC is seeking a Senior Payroll Manager to lead end-to-end payroll operations for 1,000+ employees across multiple states and entities. You will serve as a Workday Payroll SME, partnering with HR and Finance to ensure data integrity and compliant payroll processing.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of payroll leadership, strong knowledge of payroll regulations, and a track record of process improvement and system optimization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive payroll experience.
• Experience with cloud-based payroll systems.
• Experience managing payroll in a multi-state environment.
• Experience supporting multiple legal entities.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll processing across multiple legal entities and states.
• Oversee payroll operations for 1,000+ employees, predominantly hourly.
• Act as primary escalation point for complex payroll issues.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and reporting.
• Serve as Workday Payroll subject-matter expert and support system enhancements.
• Partner with HR to ensure data integrity across Workday and related records.
• Support month-end close activities and payroll reporting.
• Conduct payroll audits and strengthen controls to reduce manual work.
• Record payroll activity in the general ledger and reconcile payroll accounts.
• Mentor and develop payroll team members.
