Job summary

SciTec, a wholly owned subsidiary of Firefly Aerospace, Inc., seeks a Senior Payroll Administrator to manage multi-state payroll for 500+ employees and oversee equity-related payroll. The role interfaces with the parent company for consolidated reporting and SOX controls in a public company setting.

Ideal candidates bring deep payroll expertise, strong analytics, and experience with ADP, Workday, and Costpoint. U.S. citizenship and security-clearance readiness are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or related field.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Minimum 4 years of payroll experience with strong knowledge of multi-state payroll fundamentals.
• Public company experience required.
• Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (Workday and ADP preferred).
• Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage full payroll function for multi-state processing for 500+ employees.
• Review, enter, audit, and reconcile payroll data in ADP and other HRIS systems.
• Reconcile ADP data with Costpoint and prepare GL entries and monthly accruals.
• Ensure proper deductions for taxes, benefits, and withholdings; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Administer RSU vesting events and coordinate with equity platform.
• Stay current with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
