Job summary

WGNSTAR in Boise, ID is seeking an experienced payroll professional to join our full-time, in-office team with potential for a hybrid schedule. You will lead high-volume payroll processing, perform audits, ensure compliance, and collaborate with HR, Finance, and Operations to keep payroll accurate and on time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of payroll processing and/or payroll administration experience.
• 3+ years of payroll audits and reconciliations in a high-volume, multi-state environment.
• 3+ years supporting payroll tax and compliance requirements.
• Experience processing payroll for 1,000+ employees across multiple states.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review payroll data, perform audits and reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies.
• Support accurate and timely payroll processing per procedures and deadlines.
• Research and resolve complex payroll inquiries and adjustments.
• Partner with Payroll & Administration Manager to support daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with payroll procedures, wage and hour regulations, and tax requirements.
• Maintain organized payroll records and audit-ready files.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Operations on payroll changes.
• Identify issues and opportunities to improve payroll accuracy and efficiency.
• Support payroll system updates, testing, and process enhancements.
