Job summary

CF Industries is seeking a Payroll Supervisor to lead U.S. or Canada payroll operations, delivering accurate, timely, and compliant services while strengthening controls. The role supports growth of the payroll team and drives scalable processes across the organization.

The position supervises bi-weekly payrolls, coordinates year-end tasks, manages vendor relationships, and works with Workday and related systems to ensure precise payroll processing and reporting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of payroll experience.
• Canadian payroll processing experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of U.S. or Canadian laws and regulations affecting payroll.

Responsibilities

• Leads bi-weekly payrolls ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Establishes payroll priorities and monitors processing activities.
• Investigates tax issues at federal/state/local levels.
• Assists year-end processes including W-2 balancing and reconciliations.
• Oversees payroll system upgrades and vendor relationships.
• Provides reports for audits and special requests.
• Coaches payroll team for growth and development.
