Strong Excel skills and experience with Workday or UKG are essential. The position is hybrid in Minnetonka, MN, with 2 days in the office weekly; CPP/FPC is preferred but not required, and the right candidate may have an Associate degree.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years payroll processing experience required.
• Extensive payroll experience in a fast-paced, multi-state environment.
• Knowledge of wage and hour laws, garnishment laws, and taxability of wages.
• CPP or FPC preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily, biweekly, and special payroll processes for multi-state payroll for US non-exempt and exempt employees.
• Process payroll for up to 500 employees.
• Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate reports.
• Maintain payroll control records.
• Provide guidance to the team on payroll processing, tax laws, garnishments, and system issues.
