Job summary

Baker Tilly US is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to support client payroll needs, ensuring accurate processing and timely deliverables across multiple clients.

Responsibilities include data accuracy, tax calculations, and reporting, with a focus on client service, confidentiality, and effective communication. Strong ADP RUN knowledge and project management skills are required for implementations and client training.

Qualifications

• 3 years of payroll experience or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience may substitute for degree
• CPP preferred
• Experience with ADP RUN software and implementation
• Proficiency with Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
• Highly detail oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple clients
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Ensure payroll data accuracy in client systems and resolve discrepancies
• Process payrolls timely to meet client deadlines; update records; handle bonuses/severance; review tax calculations and deposits
• Prepare reports of earnings, taxes, deductions, and employer contributions for Social Security/unemployment
• Establish trusted client relationships and maintain confidentiality of employee data
• Provide technical software support to clients and identify opportunities to expand services
• Manage new client implementations and train clients on payroll processes
