Job summary

Remote is hiring a Senior Payroll Implementation Specialist for the Netherlands and Belgium. You will own end-to-end onboarding of new clients, providing country expertise and ensuring successful go-lives across the implementation lifecycle.

Work is fully remote, with cross‑functional collaboration with clients, internal teams, and payroll software providers. Strong Dutch/Belgian payroll knowledge and experience with AFAS and EasyPay are required.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on payroll experience in the Netherlands with loonheffing, premies WW/ZW/WIA, Zorgverzekeringswet, 30% ruling.
• Several years of payroll experience in Belgium including ONSS/RSZ, Dimona, DmfA cycles, sector CLA structures.
• Proven end-to-end payroll implementation experience from kick-off to go-live.
• Direct experience with AFAS for Netherlands payroll; EasyPay for Belgium is a plus.
• Strong ability to explain payroll processes and compliance to clients and stakeholders.
• Structured, detail-oriented problem solver with KPI/SLAs focus.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for Netherlands and Belgium payroll, covering EOR and Global Payroll.
• Attend sales calls as Country Payroll SME when required.
• Lead or contribute to client handovers and kickoff calls.
• Plan, execute, and monitor payroll implementations for timely delivery.
• Own data inception through parallel runs and first live payroll, then handover to Payroll Ops.
• Maintain complete records of configurations and SOPs for Payroll Ops visibility.
• Develop detailed project plans and timelines.
• Coordinate with customers, internal teams, and payroll software providers.
• Input and validate data in AFAS (NL) and EasyPay (BE).
• Develop standardized payroll processes to ensure consistency.
• Mentor Payroll Generalists during implementations.
• Maintain focus on KPIs and SLAs throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with teams to improve Remote platform, perform UAT, document changes.
