Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 years of payroll experience required or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree preferred; CPP preferred
• Experience using ADP RUN software and implementing payroll solutions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite
• Highly detail oriented and accurate
• Able to work in a deadline-driven environment serving multiple clients
• Ability to train clients on payroll processes
• Ability to learn new technology quickly
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal payroll practices

Responsibilities

• Ensure client payroll information is accurate within their payroll system and resolve discrepancies
• Review and/or process payrolls to meet client deadlines, update employee records, and handle bonuses or severance
• Prepare reports of earnings, taxes, deductions, and employer contributions
• Establish strong client relationships and consult on payroll matters
• Maintain confidentiality of employee data
• Communicate information clearly in writing and verbally
• Support implementation team and manage client projects
• Train clients on payroll processes as needed
• Be a resource to new hires and staff on payroll and processes
• Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal payroll practices
