Job summary

The Delaware Department of Correction is seeking a Fiscal Advisor II to support payroll operations and financial reporting for a large agency. You will process bi-weekly payroll, manage data entry, respond to payroll inquiries, and generate reports to inform budgeting and compliance.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in compiling, analyzing and reporting on financial data.
• One year of experience ensuring compliance of financial transactions with budgets, agreements, grants or laws.
• Six months' experience researching and analyzing accounting transactions and maintaining an audit trail.
• Coursework or work experience in staff supervision.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and analyzes financial transactions and records for accuracy and budgeting adherence.
• Analyzes, reconciles, and consolidates data to the general ledger and maintains an audit trail.
• Provides advice and technical guidance on fiscal functions.
• Delivers excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
