The incumbent works in the Central Business Office and provides department-wide support and oversight for payroll operations for a large law enforcement agency, including bi-weekly payroll processing, W-4 processing, data entry into the payroll system, and responding to payroll inquiries.
Essential functions include analyzing financial transactions, maintaining internal controls, preparing financial statements, and supporting audits.
The incumbent in this position will work in the Central Business Office and provide department-wide support and oversight for all payroll operations for a large law enforcement agency to include but not limited to, bi-weekly payroll processing, W-4 processing, data entry into the agencies payroll system, assist department employees with payroll related inquiries, filing, data tracking and analysis, payroll reporting and other payroll related processes, as needed.
