Job summary

OpenGov, a leader in AI and ERP solutions for local and state governments, seeks a Senior Implementation Consultant, Payroll, to drive successful implementations from start to finish. This role requires advanced Payroll, HRIS, or related product knowledge and experience across government contexts.

You will lead complex projects, configure platforms, train administrators, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software implementation consulting with ERP experience.
• Strong ability to analyze large financial data and map business workflows.
• Experience training customers on software to address key workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation projects for new and expanding customers.
• Serve as primary technical advisor and ensure smooth deployment.
• Translate customer requirements into tailored OpenGov solutions.
• Develop expertise in governmental processes across multiple states.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver consistent customer experience and training.
• Refine best practices for data environments and verticals.
• Communicate feedback to influence product discussions.
• Work with R&D and Sales to drive delivery and roadmaps.
• Mentor team members and share best practices.
• Own strategic initiatives and help meet targets.
