Job summary

TDW in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Payroll Accountant to manage bi-weekly US and Canadian payroll, benefits reconciliation, and month-end closing. The role requires 3–5 years of payroll experience, strong tax knowledge, and strict confidentiality; you will collaborate with HR to maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliant payroll processing.

Proficiency in Excel and Word is required. This is a full-time onsite position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain payroll and accounting activities for US and Canadian payroll and health benefits.
• Enter one-time payments and W-2 adjustments as approved by HR.
• Assist with garnishments, tax, reconciliations, filings and month-end closing.
• Interface with HR to maintain accurate employee files for payroll.

Williamson US and Canadian Payroll and Health Benefits.Enter one-time payments and W-2 compensation adjustments as instructed and approved by HR. Includes review and verification of payment/deductions and proper taxation. Includes, but is not limited to bonuses, commissions, deferred compensation payments, expat compensation payments, moving allowances, personal use of company car, tax preparation fees, 3rd party sick pay.Assists as needed with payroll garnishments, tax, reconciliations, filing, and other duties as instructed by payroll supervisor.Interfaces with Human Resources on maintenance of employee files to ensure an accurate and timely payroll.ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent.Some college accounting and/or general accounting experience.Three to five years of payroll experience. Current knowledge of appropriate federal, state, and local tax laws as they pertain to payroll issues.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesComputer literate with Microsoft Excel and Word at the Intermediate Level.Must maintain high level of confidentiality.NOTE: This position is not a DOT position and is not considered to be safety sensitive.
