Job summary

Trinity Capital Inc. is seeking an experienced Payroll & Benefits Manager to lead payroll and benefits administration for over 100 employees across multiple states.

You will manage bi-monthly and off-cycle payrolls, including equity vesting events, and oversee open enrollment and 401(k) programs with Fidelity. You will partner with Finance and HR to ensure accuracy, compliance, and strong internal controls, maintaining confidential employee data while driving efficient processes and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 7+ years of payroll processing and benefits administration experience, preferably at a public company.
• Experience with SOX compliance, internal controls, and payroll audits.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-monthly payroll for employees across multiple states.
• Manage off-cycle payrolls including equity vesting and bonuses.
• Maintain payroll internal controls and SOX compliance; audit-ready documentation.
• Collaborate with Finance on reconciliations, month-end and quarter-end reporting.
• Administer benefits programs including open enrollment and 401(k) activities.
