Job summary

CFS in Chicago, IL is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to manage end-to-end payroll for a multi-state workforce of about 4,000 employees. You will work with SAP HCM/ECP and contribute to system enhancements and automation initiatives.

You will partner with HR, Finance, Labor Relations, Compliance, and leadership to own payroll tax and compliance as functions are brought in-house, lead process-improvement projects, and help the organization transform—with a hybrid schedule of 3 onsite days.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of multi-state payroll experience in a high-volume environment.
• Experience processing large hourly employee populations (500+).
• Experience with SAP HCM, SAP ECP, ADP, UKG, Paylocity or similar enterprise payroll system.
• Payroll compliance knowledge including taxation, garnishments, wage orders, and union payroll preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle payroll for hourly, salaried, and union employees across multiple states.
• Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws, garnishments, and wage orders.
• Reconcile payroll results, investigate discrepancies, and resolve payroll issues.
• Support SAP HCM/ECP administration, vendor coordination, and payroll system enhancements.
• Assist with payroll integrations and implementations related to M&A activity.
• Partner with HR, Labor Relations, and Finance on union payroll, pay rules, liabilities, and reporting.
