Job summary

CFS is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our corporate team in Roseville, MN. This on-site role handles the full payroll lifecycle for 300+ employees across multiple states, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You will partner with Human Resources, Benefits, and Accounting to manage payroll records, tax filings, reconciliations, and reports, while maintaining strict confidentiality and data integrity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience, preferably multi-state.
• Experience with modern payroll systems and payroll accounting.
• Strong Excel skills with lookups and formulas.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for multi-state workforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Perform payroll audits and reviews before and after processing to identify discrepancies.
• Maintain employee payroll records, deductions, garnishments, and benefit contributions.
• Coordinate changes with HR/Benefits and respond to payroll inquiries.
• Prepare and review payroll reports for management and audits.
