Job summary

Chicago Trading Company (CTC) is seeking a hands-on Payroll Analyst to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for our US workforce. You will collaborate with Human Capital Management, Tax, and Finance to maintain policies, resolve inquiries, and support quarterly and annual filings.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and a CPP is preferred. This role includes processing semi-monthly US payroll for 600+ employees, plus international

Qualifications

• At least three years of payroll experience.
• Solid understanding of payroll accounting and local taxes.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Discretion with confidential information.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• CPP designation preferred.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process semi-monthly US payroll for over 600 employees and expats across multiple states.
• Review UK and Netherlands monthly payroll, including monthly pension submission and tax payments in coordination with local firms.
• Assist with quarterly and annual tax filings for Federal, State and Local agencies.
• Monitor and respond to employee and external inquiries with a strong service-oriented approach.
• Implement process improvements and controls to ensure data integrity and minimize errors.
• Partner with Accounting and Tax teams for payroll account and G/L reconciliations, audit inquiries and reporting.
