Job summary

Lyft in Nashville is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to join the Accounting team. You will oversee bi-weekly payroll processing for the US and Canada, maintain payroll records, and document policies and procedures while ensuring SOX compliance and accurate tax reporting.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Accounting or related field and 5+ years of payroll experience, including multi-jurisdiction processing and equity vesting processes.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of payroll experience; multi-jurisdiction payroll, US/Canada preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and written communication skills.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience with Workday, ADP GlobalView and Dayforce is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for assigned payrolls, US and/or international.
• Audit inputs from compensation and benefits, including leave of absence data.
• Coordinate LOA payments and return-to-work dates with vendor.
• Coordinate with relocation team on relocation data for employees.
• Audit payroll taxes related to vesting and ESPP; maintain payroll SOX controls.
• Maintain and reconcile payroll records.
• Provide prompt customer service regarding pay, deductions, and leave balances.
• Prepare required tax reporting in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with HR, Benefits, IT, Finance, and Accounting to improve processes.
• Prepare ad hoc reports as needed.
