Job Description
Supports payroll/application project implementation, production activities, and enhancement assignments.
Job Responsibilities
- Gathers and documents business requirements, performs fit-gap analysis, establishes priorities and timelines, and develops functional specifications; assists in design, implementation, and maintenance of applications using standard project planning methodologies and documentation procedures.
- Collaborates with IT resources, business units, and support teams to test and validate data; provides functional expertise during design phases through configuration, testing, and upgrades.
- Defines, develops, and executes test plans and scripts for implementing new or modified functionalities, following standard project planning methodologies.
- Leads the design of interfaces, data conversions, and customizations; manages testing phases and issue resolution; advises on best practices for configuration and setup of payroll/application systems.
- Partners with Payroll to support business operations, resolve issues, and support applications, including modifying or developing queries and reports, and maximizing new features in upgrades.
- Prepares payroll and application data in clear formats for management and staff use.
- Creates ad-hoc reports and manipulates data to meet client needs, analyzing data and metrics for HR and key stakeholders.
- Communicates system changes and new functionalities to users and troubleshoots problems.
- Develops payroll/application training materials and delivers training to end users as needed.
- Operates with limited guidance; handles moderately complex to complex issues requiring in-depth analysis.
- Performs related duties as required, considering all essential functions under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and related experience.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience required.
- Prior payroll experience preferred.
- Prior HCM experience preferred.
