Job summary

LG Electronics is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst for a temporary, on-site assignment in Englewood Cliffs, NJ (Mon-Fri, 8AM-5PM EST). The role focuses on accurate multi-state payroll processing, tax compliance, reconciliations, and process improvement, requiring strong analytical skills and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate will manage complex payroll transactions, mentor junior team members, and drive root-cause analysis to implement sustainable controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5–8+ years of US payroll experience in a high-volume, multi-state environment.
• Hands-on experience with payroll tax, 401(k), and reconciliations.
• Experience with UKG Pro is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state US payroll for salaried and hourly employee populations.
• Own complex payroll activities and adjustments with appropriate tax treatment.
• Lead or support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close and reconciliations.
• Develop controls, documentation, and automation opportunities for payroll processes.
