Century Group is partnering with a client in Orange County, CA to hire a Senior Payroll Administrator responsible for delivering accurate multistate payroll, timely processing and compliance.

The role requires 10+ years of payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with ADP WorkforceNow; experience with enterprise accounting systems is preferred. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity in a dynamic accounting operations team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of payroll experience in a complex business environment.
• Demonstrate experience processing multistate payroll and managing payroll related compliance requirements.
• Possess strong knowledge of payroll regulations tax withholding requirements and payroll administration practices.
• Maintain advanced Excel skills and proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Have experience with ADP WorkforceNow and enterprise accounting systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll transactions accurately and ensure employees are paid correctly and on schedule.
• Review timekeeping records payroll adjustments deductions and employee data to maintain payroll accuracy.
• Prepare payroll reports reconciliations and supporting documentation for management and accounting teams.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Support payroll system administration process improvements and special projects that enhance operational efficiency.
