Job summary

Genesis10 is seeking a Technology Solutions Designer for a 12+ month contract with a Global Financial Institution, based in Charlotte, NC, with alternate locations in Plano, TX or Pennington, NJ.

The role leads requirements refinement, end-to-end design, and architecture governance for payments initiatives. You will collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant solutions in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of overall experience.
• Strong domain knowledge in core payments products lifecycle and systems.
• Strong knowledge of distributed architecture patterns (microservices, containers).
• Experience with API driven integrations and event-based messaging.
• Experience with Visio, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive requirements refinement with business, operations and tech stakeholders; document business and system requirements; create high-level and functional requirements in Agile SAF hierarchies.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and Engineering teams to deliver end-to-end technical solutions.
• Translate regulatory and business requirements into scalable platform designs and decompose them into deliverable increments.
• Enforce non-functional requirements: resiliency, scalability, SLA, security and observability.
• Identify architectural impediments and drive remediation across stakeholders; present multiple tech solutions for decisioning.
• Conduct architecture reviews to ensure alignment with standards, strategies and risk controls.
• Partner with Product and Project Managers to prioritize technology backlog items and ensure timely delivery.
