Job summary

Genesis10 is seeking an Application Architect for a 12+ month contract in Atlanta, GA. You will design, implement, and support infrastructure for Payment and Merchant Services Technology, with end-to-end accountability across design, DevOps, and operations for high-volume platforms.

The role requires strong experience in cloud (Azure), ALM automation (Ansible, Jenkins, XLR), JIRA/NEXUS, and Linux/Windows environments, plus excellent communication and the ability to operate in a 24x7 environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS or related field.
• Experience designing and engineering solutions for large business capabilities.
• Experience in Systems Administration/Engineering.
• 2+ years with Azure cloud technologies and ALM automation tools.
• Familiar with JIRA, NEXUS, and ALM; Agile experience.
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and databases; good networking.
• Able to work in a 24x7 environment and communicate complex tech clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of complex system engineering activities.
• Define infrastructure architecture for high availability and scalability.
• Identify technical requirements for new projects (hardware, OS, security).
• Address production issues and troubleshoot incidents.
• Coordinate with teams and review designs; create docs and deployment guides.
• Mitigate risks associated with line-of-business applications.
