Job summary

PPRO is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer based in Chicago to bridge complex payment technology with strategic deal-making. You will lead pre-sales architecture, own technical RFP responses, and guide integration scoping for major merchants and marketplaces.

You’ll translate merchant needs into tailored solutions on PPRO’s unified platform (GAPI) and MoR, acting as a trusted technical partner through go-live and early post-live support. Hybrid work is offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer-facing solutions engineering, technical sales, or integration consulting role in payments/fintech/e-commerce.
• Strong hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON payloads, and API testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical authority during the commercial lifecycle for enterprise merchants, PSPs, and marketplaces.
• Pre-Sales Architecture & RFP leadership.
• Technical single point of contact during pre-sales, workshops, and pitch meetings.
• Own and craft technical responses for RFPs/RFIs.
