Job summary

PPRO is seeking a Senior Sales Solutions Engineer based in Chicago to bridge complex payments tech with major enterprise deals. You will own pre-sales architecture, RFP responses, and integration scoping, connecting clients to GAPI, LPMs, and MoR modules.

You will guide modernization and provide go-live support, influencing product direction with merchant feedback. You will act as a trusted technical partner, speaking with engineers and executives, and driving cross-border commerce success for

Qualifications

5+ years in a customer-facing solutions engineering, technical sales, or integration consulting role.
Strong hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON payloads and API testing tools.
Deep knowledge of global payments, LPMs, MoR and acquiring models.
Excellent presentation skills with executives and RFP/Q&A experience.
Able to review code samples and discuss integration approaches with engineers.
Experience with cross-border e‑commerce and multi-region checkout dynamics.
Familiarity with migrating to unified APIs and developer advocacy.

Responsibilities

Lead pre-sales architecture and RFP/RFI responses for enterprise merchants.
Translate business logic into technical solutions using PPRO services.
Guide platform modernization and integration scoping with engineering teams.
Oversee go-live enablement and first-line post-live support with TAM.
Drive targeted technical initiatives to help long-standing customers adopt new products.
