Job summary

Cumberland Farms, Inc. is seeking a Senior Customer Payments Analyst to manage all payment-related processes across US divisions, including POS and online channels. You will work with external vendors, Retail IT, and operations to ensure accurate processing and robust controls.

The role requires 5–8 years in related fields, strong analytical abilities, and excellence in communication. You will play a key part in process improvements, reporting, and cost optimization within a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
• 5–8 years in retail operations, accounting, banking or related field.

Responsibilities

• Execute all tasks of the Customer Payments Analyst with accuracy.
• Support new business setup with external vendors.
• Lead testing and certification with Retail IT for upgrades affecting payments.
• Oversee reprocessing of sales not captured to maximize revenues.
• Provide backup support to the team and assist manager as needed.
• Train new team members in collaboration with the Manager.
• Generate analytical reports on payments volumes and costs of acceptance.
• Oversee disputes and use fraud tools to minimize chargebacks and losses.
• Support customer service on third party portals and research transactions.
• Coordinate with IT Escalations and Retail Asset Protection on payment issues and investigations.
• Lead process improvements and projects related to payments.
