You will platformize payments, build reusable capabilities and APIs, shape the roadmap, and partner with Money Movement, Tax, and Global Payroll to scale a critical fintech domain.

Responsibilities

• Own the Payments experience: lead the system and product layer for money movement, readiness, status, recovery, and user resolution.
• Build AI-first experiences: apply AI to make payments proactive and understandable, surface anomalies, and guide users.
• Platformize and unify payments across Rippling: create reusable capabilities, APIs, workflows, and abstractions for fintech products.
• Shape long-term strategy: define the roadmap for Payments Experience and the broader payments platform.
• Define the product/platform boundary: separate shared capabilities from product-specific logic.
• Build a world-class payments experience: fast, intuitive, and reliable with global scale.
• Build the future of contractor payments: own Balance wallet and modern withdrawal methods.
• Operate at global scale: collaborate with distributed teams and ensure reliability of high-volume systems.
