Job summary

Visa seeks an experienced in-house counsel to advise on disputes, risk, and compliance while supporting global product and services. You will collaborate with business and technology teams to drive key objectives and craft innovative offerings.

The role requires JD, bar admission, and ability to travel up to 10%. You will coordinate with regional legal teams and mentor junior staff while handling sophisticated commercial agreements.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to bar in good standing or eligible for registered in-house counsel in the state of location.

Responsibilities

• Advise Visa’s dispute resolution team and support core Visa products and services.
• Lead counsel while coordinating with subject matter experts and regional legal teams globally.
• Draft, negotiate, and complete complex commercial agreements.
• Provide day-to-day legal support and counseling to business relationships.
• Develop product and service offerings with risk and compliance focus.
• Review and approve product-related marketing materials and other content.
• Create guidelines and templates and drive process improvements.
