Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Payload I&T Engineer in Redmond, WA to lead integration and testing for Kuiper payload features, ground gateway and customer terminals. You will work with cross-functional teams to define tests, execute campaigns, and report results.

Responsibilities include end-to-end testing, lab automation, and documenting verification activities. The role requires 5+ years in satellite/test labs, strong Python test development, Linux and RF lab skills, and collaboration across hardware,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Experience with Linux, basic networking skills, and RF lab equipment configuration.
5+ years of satellite and/or cellular lab testing experience.
Experience with test development in Python or similar language.

Responsibilities

Conceptualize and execute a test campaign across hardware, software and cloud components.
Perform end-to-end functional and performance testing of ground equipment, satellite and customer terminals.
Expand lab test coverage by integrating with test equipment and vendors.
Troubleshoot, analyze data and identify root causes of failures across the system.
Draft and maintain test documentation and verification matrices; track test runs.
