Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC in Redmond, WA is seeking a software engineer to design and build automated test systems for satellite hardware. You will write Python to validate components, develop CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with RF and hardware teams to ensure reliable production test tooling.

The role sits at the intersection of software and hardware validation, requiring reading datasheets, translating engineering intent into test logic, and delivering end-to-end test

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
• 8+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build software to automate hardware test systems.
• Develop software infrastructure to support test case execution.
• Architect and build automation to support development (CI/CD).
• Align with various stakeholders on software requirements.
• Document software requirements from users.
• Support manufacturing as well as new product development.
• Enable automated data collection, data analysis.
• Own and execute software quality and release process.
• Work with electrical test equipment.
