Job summary

Cognizant Consulting in the United States is seeking a Sr. Consulting Manager- Payer BA to lead client engagements, drive solution delivery, and help grow Cognizant’s consulting practice. You will be a valued member of our team, collaborating with clients, cross-functional groups, and senior stakeholders.

You will work to ensure governance, quality, and value realization for payer and healthcare clients, leveraging onsite/offshore delivery and strategic thinking to unlock opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of consulting experience with extensive client-facing work.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• Proven experience leading consultant teams in planning, analysis and delivery.
• Experience managing onsite/offshore delivery models.
• Proficiency in business/financial data modeling and analysis.
• Familiarity with common consulting frameworks, processes and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Engagement Lead, managing teams for commercial projects, ensuring governance and client satisfaction.
• Assess solutions for growth opportunities and partner involvement.
• Drive cross-functional solutioning with aligned goals and governance.
• Oversee daily activities of project staff including non-consulting members.
• Review deliverables for quality, requirements alignment and integration.
• Lead post-mortems to extract lessons and repurpose IP.
• Apply strategic thinking to ensure value-add for clients.
• Resolve issues and escalate engagement challenges to decision-makers.
