Cognizant in the United States is seeking a Senior Consulting Manager who will drive client engagement, lead teams through analyses, business case development, and the delivery of contextual solutions to complex business challenges.

You will work with clients, your core project team, and stakeholders to align payer industry expertise with engagement requirements, manage resources, and ensure high-quality outcomes on strategic initiatives in healthcare payor operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Digital technology team lead experience with client management responsibilities.
• 6-8 years of consulting experience as a Payer SME.
• Management Consulting experience, preferably with top consulting firms.
• Strong Healthcare industry background including health plans, claims, and provider operations.
• Project management and people management experience.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present to stakeholders.
• Exposure to technology-driven projects and digital transformation initiatives.
• Deep understanding of payer functions and Medicaid plan implementations, including enrollment and billing.

Responsabilités

• Direct a small-to-medium team through client engagement, analysis, and solution development.
• Align functional industry expertise to engagement requirements.
• Manage escalations and balance client needs with resources.
• Ensure alignment of activities to priorities and efficient use of time and resources.
• Address team capability gaps to respond to engagement opportunities.
• Participate in client workshops and business analysis interviews.
• Supervise daily activities of project staff and stakeholders.
• Lead communications with project stakeholders, status reporting, and issue resolution.
• Review deliverables for QA and gather stakeholder feedback.
• Capture lessons learned from post-mortems and identify potential IP.
• Document client validation of project success to sustain relationships.
