Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Sr. Consulting Manager with payer domain experience to lead business analysis on healthcare initiatives in the U.S. You will guide requirements, design processes, and ensure end-to-end traceability from business intent to delivered solutions.

The role demands strong workshop facilitation, collaboration with PMs and architects, and mentorship of junior analysts. Extensive travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Payer knowledge in 3 core areas (claims, membership, provider data, etc.).
• 10+ years in business analysis, process design, or healthcare consulting with lead-analyst roles.
• Ability to facilitate workshops and elicit requirements from diverse stakeholders.
• Strong requirements documentation, traceability, and delivery methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
• Prefer familiarity with AI-enabled requirement tasks and related tools.
• Certifications such as AHIP, CBAP, or CSPO are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analyst on payer initiatives with end-to-end traceability.
• Facilitate elicitation workshops with SMEs and delivery teams.
• Act as SME for BA and process design; peer-review junior analysts' work.
• Collaborate with PMs and architects to validate scope and status reports.
• Produce and manage RAID logs, BRDs, and traceability artifacts.
• Prepare client presentations and internal deliverables.
