Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Sr. Consulting Manager (Healthcare Global Consulting Practice) based in the United States. You will lead as the principal business analyst on payer initiatives, guiding requirements from intake through delivery, and acting as SME and quality reviewer for junior analysts.

Travel willingness is required; the role demands 10+ years in healthcare BA or consulting, a Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred), and strong workshop facilitation plus documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Payer knowledge in claims, membership, products, provider data, or care/utilization management.
• 10+ years in business analysis, process design, or healthcare consulting with lead-analyst experience.
• Ability to elicit requirements from diverse stakeholders and manage multiple initiatives.
• Strong requirements documentation, traceability, and delivery methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
• Preferred: AHIP, CBAP, or CSPO; familiarity with generative AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analyst on payer initiatives with end-to-end traceability from intake to delivery.
• Facilitate workshops with SMEs, owners, and delivery teams to define features.
• Act as SME for BA, review junior/associate work, and ensure quality.
• Partner with PM and EB Architect to validate scope, reports, and multiple initiatives.
• Maintain RAID log and deliver artifacts like BRD, traces, and process flows.
