Cognizant is seeking a Sr. Consulting Manager with healthcare payer expertise to lead analysis on payer initiatives within the Healthcare Global Consulting Practice.

You will guide requirements, design processes, and ensure end-to-end traceability from business intent to delivered solution. You will manage multiple initiatives, facilitate workshops with SMEs and delivery teams, and act as SME/quality reviewer for junior analysts, collaborating with project managers and enterprise architects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in business analysis, process design, or healthcare consulting, including a lead-analyst role on complex initiatives.
• Payer knowledge across core areas (claims, membership, products, provider/network data, care/utilization management, member services).
• Strong ability to elicit requirements from diverse stakeholders and manage multiple initiatives independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analyst on payer initiatives, owning requirements quality and end-to-end traceability from intake through delivery.
• Facilitate elicitation workshops with SMEs, business owners, and delivery teams to define features and requirements.
• Act as expert advisor/ SME for business analysis and process design, and peer-review work by junior analysts.
• Partner with PM, Initiative Owner, and Enterprise Business Architect to validate scope and manage multiple initiatives.
