Job summary

HNTB Corporation in Westfield, IN is seeking a dedicated engineer to produce and modify design calculations, technical reports, and project plans. You will collaborate with the pavement section manager, develop designs, run analyses, and deliver content for constructability and budgets.

Mentoring junior staff and guiding multi-discipline teams are part of the role. Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience (or advanced degrees) and proficiency

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 4 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 3 years, or PhD with 2 years of relevant experience.
EIT or PE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Completes assigned work within the schedule and hours provided.
Assist in development of project specifications.
Develop discipline‑specific engineering elements and deliverables such as reports, designs and plans.
Coordinate and plan schedules, hours, and distribution of work within the discipline.
Provide technical guidance to less experienced team members.
Work with other disciplines on multi‑discipline projects.
Perform quality control reviews of discipline‑specific elements/deliverables.
