Job summary

Triton Environmental Consultants, Ltd. is seeking a seasoned NDT Lead to oversee and perform advanced inspections on structures, pipelines, and materials.

You will apply ultrasound, PAUT, TOFD, Magnetic Particle, Laser Profilometry, and visual testing, lead a small team, and ensure strict adherence to safety and quality standards. The role requires strong leadership, hands-on experience with multiple NDT methods, and the ability to travel frequently to client sites.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ultrasonic shearwave and Magnetic Particle Inspection certifications.
• PAUT training hours (80 PAUT hours minimum).
• 320 PAUT on-the-job hours documented.
• Eddy Current Level II certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct NDT testing of components and materials per codes and procedures.
• Perform NDT inspections with ultrasound, PAUT, TOFD, Magnetic Particle, Laser Profilometry, and visual methods.
• Select, prepare, calibrate, and operate NDT equipment.
• Identify defects using the appropriate testing technique.
• Complete documentation and work orders within deadlines.
• Drive company vehicles and maintain safe driving record.
• Provide instruction to assigned assistants and ensure team safety.
