Job summary

The Normal Brand is seeking a highly experienced Pattern Maker to translate design concepts into production-ready patterns for men’s and women’s premium apparel. This role partners with domestic teams and overseas factories to drive consistent fit, quality, and manufacturing excellence.

Responsibilities include pattern engineering, pattern library maintenance, and collaboration with Product Development to ensure manufacturability and best-in-class fit across categories.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional pattern making experience within premium apparel.
• Experience with both men's and women's ready-to-wear.
• Experience working directly with overseas factories.
• Proficiency in Gerber AccuMark or similar CAD
• Strong understanding of garment construction and grading

Responsibilities

• Engineer patterns balancing aesthetics, comfort, functionality, and manufacturability.
• Optimize patterns for efficient production without compromising quality.
• Participate in all fit sessions and execute pattern corrections.
• Collaborate with Fit Team to improve fit, durability, and cost efficiency.
• Maintain pattern libraries, version control, and documentation.
• Review factory patterns for consistency with standards.
• Build and maintain master blocks across key categories.
• Drive best practices across men's and women's product categories.
