Job summary

RTX's Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities Directorate leads Mission Systems Integration and MBSE. A Principal Systems Engineer with IP networking and Python experience will drive design and development for Patriot communications systems. This onsite role requires technical leadership and participation in full product lifecycle management.

The position emphasizes collaboration, mentoring, and delivering high‑quality warfighter solutions within a DoD program from the Andover site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in STEM related field; security clearance requirements may apply.
• Experience in IP networking and Python software development.
• Strong systems engineering background with DoD familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on work in labs with communications hardware for Patriot systems.
• Design and optimize IP network architectures for Patriot communications.
• Develop configurations for communications devices across hardware.
• Provide technical leadership to a small team of engineers.
