Job summary

RTX, the world-leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Principal Systems Engineer to support hardware/software integration for Patriot programs in Andover. The role requires active U.S.

government security clearance and citizenship, and is onsite at the Andover lab. You will perform complex integration/test activities, troubleshoot in engineering labs, and collaborate with HW, SW, and Mechanical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in STEM with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with LabVIEW, C/C++, Python, and FORTRAN 77.
• Experience with Linux/UNIX.

Responsibilities

• Utilize software programming expertise to support software/hardware integration testing and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to successful technical execution of complex integration and test events.
• Perform daily testing execution and troubleshooting in an engineering lab.
• Develop expertise in program hardware/software interfaces.
• Interact with team members across HW, SW, Mechanical, and Systems Integration.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying and documenting issues.
• Utilize L/UNIX to troubleshoot and configure assets to meet customer needs.
• Travel domestically up to 10% to White Sands Missile Range.
