Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive health care experience.
• Experience in a large and complex health care organization preferred.
• Advanced MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

Responsibilities

• Provide interim or surge support for patient safety and risk management across assigned hospitals and departments.
• Collaborate with leadership and committees in facilitating peer review, analysis of adverse events, and follow-up with regulatory bodies.
• Identifies trends by collecting data to improve clinical quality systems and performance.
• Analyzes adverse events and concerns related to clinical care and follows up with regulatory/accreditation agencies; safeguards confidentiality.
• Recommends corrective and preventive actions to reduce risk; collaborates with CRICO and hospital improvement teams.
• Participates in educational offerings to stay current on research and trends locally and nationally in responsibilities.
• Works independently with minimal supervision and sets priorities to complete daily tasks and projects.
• Performs all other duties as assigned and requested.
